And now, finally, after 18 years of wait, I could finally see one of the most remarkable "Guitar Heroes" performing live.He delivered what could be expected of a Monster of Rock that had hisgh breakthrough when he was 19 years old, accepted to play with Mr. Ozzy Osbourne: excellent show, very accurate and passionate guitar performance, humor and lot's of energy.The only thing I found a bit boring, was his 10min.

Not just watching a concert but being part of a shared experience. From playing old classics such as Bleed For Me, Blessed Hellride and Suicide Messiah over a great tribute In This River for the late Dimebag Darrell to the new tunes such as Angel Of Mercy, this was a rock/metalfest through and through. Since I grew up in the 80s in Colombia (South America), the chances of this happening where = 0. The Riverside Municipal auditorium is also such a cool venue to catch a show at too! When Zakk Wylde formed the band after his long run being Ozzy Osbourne’s right hand man, he formed a southern rock band called Pride & Glory… and then Osbourne decided that he wanted to record another album, so he did, in the form of an album called “Ozzmosis”. Zakk was incredible. Definitely worth the money if you're a BID fan.There is only one guy who thinks stopping playing inbetween songs and sets is for p***ies - Zakk Wylde. Their next tour date is at Georgia Theatre in Athens, after that they'll be at Mars Music Hall in Huntsville.

This wasn't.They killed it. First time seeing them live. Crobot - the first support - were great too and I'll definitely check them out.What an amazing show. As neither of those projects materialised, Wylde decided to finally record his solo acoustic album entitled “Book of Shadows” which unfortunately didn’t achieve the commercial success he had hoped.Out of this phase only came good things when Wylde teamed up with drummer Phil Ondich and formed Black Label Society. Black Label Society will embark on a North American headlining tour this fall, with support from The Black Dahlia Murder and Alien Weaponry.

Unfortunately, the acoustics at Marathon Music Works in Nashville are not the best, so at times it was a little hard to discern notes and separate instruments/vocals, etc., but that was in no way the band or their team's fault. Dario Lorina's guitar riffs were also quite hot, and really added a lot to the performance, in my opinion.While it was sort of strange attending a Black Label Society concert where the audience was calmer than I'd expected to see, having been to several Black Label Society concerts, I think that this performance still held up to my expectations for the band, and I know my wife and I had a great time.The concert was as bad ass as I expected it to be. Zakk is such a fab musician, singer, fab artist all over and good looking too.
