The $(0.03) per share (diluted) and $(0.06) per share (diluted) of expense for “Government and other legal settlements and related costs” for the three and six months ended June 30, 2019, respectively, is the net impact of several lawsuits settled in principle during the related periods, and related legal expenses. The Company has from time to time sold noncontrolling interests in certain of its subsidiaries or acquired subsidiaries with existing noncontrolling interest ownership positions.
