I'll spare you the long description of dessert to say that they were both fabulous. Liz gained her 16 years of experience in the restaurant industry through the school of hard knocks and also attended SUNY Plattsburgh, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree.

HOME. Yum!I've been waiting a long time and am happy to have discovered a new and fabulous restaurant in Lake Placid! Someone has a love of pugs which I do not share, but it's not overbearing, so it's not an issue. The cute staff welcomes people all year round. We would definitely go back every time we get to Lake Placid.

This duck was fabulous! Sea Pearl, Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand $11/33. They were both really nicely balanced with some hints of sweet and salty mixed in with typical greens and accompanied by just the right amount of dressing.

Set in an old colonial home and furnished with an eclectic flare, the spaces are handsome with immaculate attention to detail. You won't find it on the main strip in Lake Placid, so there's no view of the lake.
