I suppose that it's hard for a sequel to live up to a cult favorite, but as I've never seen the first movie, my opinion of this one isn't tainted by that. But as far as rock n roll high school forever goes...... i want to be in a band now! Severely embarrassing (and causing infighting among the Yupettes) the Yupettes and Vadar, the situation causes Vadar to go on a homicidal rampage. This is one of the funniest high school movies I've ever seen, and everyone ought to see it, the Appliance Worship scene is alone is worth it. Directed by Allan Arkush, Joe Dante. The film featured the punk rock group Ramones. Feldman's Michael Jackson impersonation and his terrible band playing 40 year old pop songs was not a joke. $9.99. In their new lunch period, they encounter a shut-in named Tabatha, the supposed daughter of a witch, who believes that the four basic food groups are Sugar, Salt, Fat, and Booze. Driving her car through the school grounds, she has no regard for the safety of anyone on the school grounds. If you are looking for an entertaining movie that you don't expect to have a lasting impact on you this is a great movie.
If there was a soundtrack released to this film, I'd definitely like to get it, just as a guilty pleasure. Still, it keeps your attention as to what new kind of craziness will happen next. Having had enough, the board of trustees tell Principal McGree that he is a failure as a disciplinarian, and that he is incapable of handling the school by himself. Corey Feldman leads a rock and roll rally at Ronald Reagon High, but must triumph over the evil plans of the school's fascist principal, Vadar, who wants to halt the school dance and run their school like a prison. Rock 'n' Roll High School did well enough that Arkush and Whitley followed it up with a sequel, Rock 'n' Roll High School Forever in 1991. That would be cool. 3 out of 12 found this helpful.
Since Larry works at a garage, he gets to use one of the Rolls Royces. This doesn't curb their behavior, however, and they continue with their trouble making in a business as usual fashion, mentally traumatizing Mrs. Grossman in the process (something that enrages Vadar), which leads to Vadar implementing a new operation known as 'Reagan High Super Secret Security Program'. There is only one problem, there is a briefcase full of money in the trunk. Upon the appearance of the Yupettes, the Eradicators begin playing the video tapes that they've managed to record over the previous week. Rock N' Roll High School Forever is what describes high school in real life, rock n' roll.
This is one of the worst, least entertaining movies I have ever seen. Ramones fanatic and delinquent Riff Randell battle it out with the strict new principle of Vince Lombardi High School, Miss Togar, with help from the Ramones. Enlisting the help of Eaglebauer, a business man who seems to work out of one of the bathrooms in the school to disrupt the school in any way possible, such as selling test answers and other services that clearly violate school policy. You might find yourself laughing although you'd never admit to it amongst friends. Avoid this movie if you can, and see the original instead, its much, much better.Looking for some great streaming picks?

He can actually sing, accept for his attempt to sound like other musicians. An earlier reviewer mentioned how this movie derailed corey feldman's up until then promising career,but judging by his decision to sign up to this turkey,it was inevitable anyway.Thats not to say that 'rock'n roll...' is anyway forgivable or redeemable,it's just you cant blame the movie for the 'star's' participation. So if you like that style of movie you should also enjoy this. Everyone knowing each other, everyone having a good time, a bunch of girls getting it on with their boyfriends, druggies, (I'm not saying that's a good thing, it's just that that's what the movie and my school have in common) and a whole lot of parties.

Then, the director of Slumber Party Massacre tries her hand at teen comedy with 1991's Rock 'n' Roll High School Forever, starring rock and roll virtuoso Corey Feldman. Oh, man, I died laughing at the looks on the two guys faces who was passing out the cups. Corey Feldman leads a rock and roll rally at Ronald Reagon High, but must triumph... This is a bad movie, but for some reason it's fun to watch. Rock 'n' Roll High School Forever has a crisper picture, though the 4:3 framing gives it the advantage of more lines of resolution and as the more recent film you would expect it to be in better shape (a risky maxim to rely on, I'll admit). Seeing this sequel, it doesn't take long watching it to figure out why it isn't better known.
