Almost looks like it had been tossed around at some point in a bin of other modems. I could have spent more money, but in general, this modem seems to be known for good reliability and performance.

I have this exact C2000T modem for my home service, which I had bought new at high price from CL (to avoid rental fees) a couple years ago.

So, dsl works, internet works and wifi works.

We have several roku boxes, chromecast,, and vizio tv hooked to this, and noticed we were able to set video play back to automatic vs 720 which means we now get some 4k output. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. We had to reconfigure it several times to get it to “stick.” The time zone kept reverting back to Mountain Time (we are in the Eastern Time Zone) and it would NOT accept a new admin password of our choosing no matter how many times we changed it and saved it.

Very frustrating! It surprisingly arrived 2 days early, which was helpful. I messed up the setting initially and the password for wifi was different than the one printed on the case, but i was able to find the wifi password under wifi security when logged in as the modem administrator, whose password was on the outside of the case and was correct. Ordered product as a backup to a Technicolor C2000T we ordered to replace one damaged by lightning.
First of all it appeared to be DOA right out of the box but then I found the included 12VDC power brick was faulty and only outputting 9VDC so the unit would not start up. So when I purchased this, I was expecting it to be a little better condition.

It arrived well-packaged, but it was covered in a light layer of something oily (probably a polish of some sort) but it was wrapped in plastic and had a number of scuffs on the outer case. The product worked great for 11 months 28 days. Replaced leased modem with this modem.

Useless on Arrival.

After 4 months the modem stopped working so I contacted the seller since there is a one year warranty.

I looked at all of the CL's "compatible modems list" and checked a lot of reviews. So far this weird modem is operating but if power goes out it doesn’t remember its settings and has to be reconfigured again. Additionally, the C2100T features four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and dedicated Gigabit Ethernet WAN port which also works as a fifth LAN port.
I worked with Centurylink for 2 hours and they could not get it working. While the modem does a fair amount of "auto-setting" on reboot, it takes a lot longer to make the DSL/ISP connection than the older modem. Your recently viewed items and featured recommendations

Initially, I did have to go into the admin console and change a couple of things to get it to connect, but it connected and has been solid. Trying to get a replacement, if I'm brave enough. Select your address Luckily it reverted to the password on the sticker on the bottom of the modem. The 2.4 GHz would no longer accept a password. Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features.

This solved my problem.
